As a music video director I’m always inspired by those who attempt and succeed in making something fresh while still connecting to the artist, the music. I aspire to outshine myslef in 2010. I feel that I am now truly brave enough to take it to the next level. I started doing music videos as a way to experiment and collaborate. As the years progress the artist approached me with more marketing then creative. I’m all for selling a record but believe that catching someones eyes can leave lasting impressions. In anycase “Imma let you finish but these are my top music videos in 2009(in no particular order)”.

Had a chance to work with Diddy’s new group Dirty Money. Everyone was cool and chill. I thought I was working hard but these guys put it in. Diddy is about his work.
Shout out to Dawn for teaching me how to use my blackberry camera ( LOL ). Meduim Format cameras I can handle , camera phones that was another story.
Had an opportunity to build with fellow photographer Aeric Meredith-Goujon a few months ago and just now got to really look at some of those captures. I see my younger braver self in those images and feel the inevitable comeback. Photography has always been my voice yet over the years I’ve collaborated and reflected something I didn’t quite recognize.
My homie Jon Kelly just got engaged. The wedding is set for July 2010. After watching the HANGOVER, I’m already thinking of a proper send off. Enjoy this portrait of Jon ( pre – engagement ).
